Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (or just simply known as Madagascar 2) is sequel to the 2005 film, Madagascar. Film will be about the animals starting the plane on Madagascar, and then landing in Africa, and meeting some of Alex's family. After escaping Madagascar on a plane, the animals' plan to return to New York City is thwarted when they crash land in Africa. Initially, the animals are delighted to finally be among their own kind in the wild, however, life in Africa turns out to be different from what they anticipated.
