Bryan, a former secret agent living in the US, is divorced; he is fond of his 17-year-old daughter Kim who lives with his ex-wife and her new husband. Kim wants to take a vacation in Europe with her friend Amanda, and together follow U2's European tour. Kim's mother allows this, but Kim also needs permission from her father. Since Kim fears that Bryan will not consent because of cautiousness, she pretends that they will only stay in Paris. Reluctantly Bryan agrees.

In Paris a seemingly friendly young man named Peter proposes to share a taxi with them to the house where Kim and her friend are staying, and so they do. However, the man works for a criminal organization of Albanians to which he reports the address.

In the house, after a few minutes Kim recieves a phone call from her father, where she then goes to the bathroom. She then sees from the bathroom window, men entering the room and abducting Amanda. Bryan tells Kim to go to the nearest bedroom and hide under the bed. Once there he tells her "Now this next part is very important. They're going to take you." The mysterious men are then seen grabbing Kim's legs from under the bed. Bryan talks on the phone and tells the men he will find them, and a man says "good luck". What Expert Say?

"a slam-bang patchwork of more inspired comedies, such as Ace Ventura: Pet
Detective and Borat". Byrge described the premise as "a twist on the formula of
let's-put-on-a-show, with the twist being that no one wants the show". He
thought that the screenwriters had put together "a string of gags in a
hit-and-miss dither"
- Duane Byrge of The Hollywood Reporter
"outrageously funny but it does require a certain type of sense of humor and the
ability to laugh at very odd behavior and situations". Douglas thought that
Coogan played his character over-the-top, but found that through the film, "you
really start to love him". He described the premise as "ludicrous" but said,
"Sometimes, you just have to turn off your brain and allow yourself to laugh."
-
Edward Douglas of ComingSoon.net
"It made sure to take shots at Christians, gays, Latinos, Jews, the American
Civil Liberties Union and Elisabeth Shue, one of its lead actresses."
- The New
York Times

9 Q&A with George Lucas

04:10

1. How did you come up with the idea of doing 'Clone Wars'?
When I was doing 'Revenge of the Sith,' I thought, "Gee, it's too bad that I'm starting 'Episode III' by going right into the end of the Clone Wars." So we came up with the idea of doing a little animated series for Cartoon Network.

2. You did two of those in 2003. Why did you decide to do yet another series ?
I started in animation in college, and then I moved to live action, but I have produced a lot of animated films and I really always wanted to get back to it. I was so enamored with the idea of doing the animated 'Clone Wars' and doing something that really wasn't focused on Anakin's problems of going to the Dark Side. So I decided that when I finished the features, I would go back and make the best animated TV series that has ever been done.

3. Wow, the best? Isn't that a tall order?
Well, that's the fun part! We helped evolve CG animation and we've been involved with it for a long time. I love anime, I love graphic art, I love Japanese influences. This is my chance to really have some fun and, you know, do it the best. It's not quite Pixar quality, but definitely of a quality that nobody's ever seen before.

4. Why did you opt to launch the series in theaters instead of on TV?
When we first started to see the finished product, I said, "This is way beyond our expectations, this is so great, this [could be] a feature film." So I decided that we should do a movie that introduces one of our main characters: Ahsoka [Anakin's Padawan, aka Jedi apprentice]. I know a lot of the fans will love to see it on the big screen.

5. 'Clone Wars' seems much lighter than the live action movies.
'Episode V' and 'Episode VI' and 'II' and 'III,' are all about personal angst and redemption and that kind of stuff whereas 'I' and 'IV' are innocent and lighthearted. 'Clone Wars' is like that. It's a lot more fun. Anakin's a regular guy, just like the rest of us. And the problem with the movies is -- just by the nature of the length of time and how you tell a story -- you don't get a chance to get beyond his problems. 'Clone Wars' allows Anakin to be a normal person.

6. How does 'Clone Wars' fit into the entire 'Star Wars' story?
It's really just a footnote. It's not part of the large saga. You get between Episodes 'II' and 'III,' and there's an asterisk there that says please check end of book for more about the Clone Wars.

7. So are there any great 'Star Wars' revelations?
Well, there's nothing like being a parent, as Anakin is to Ahsoka, to sort of make you grow up and be an adult. There are issues in the TV series that will evolve and come out just because they have to, because Anakin still has these problems about letting go. Even in the feature, Obi-Wan says, "I think they'll be a great team," and Yoda says, "Yeah, but his problem won't be teaching her, his problem will be letting go of her." And, obviously, she doesn't appear in 'Episode III.'

8. At one time, you were rumored to be making three 'Star Wars' trilogies. Are there more movies on the horizon?
No, because the Anakin Skywalker story starts when he's 10 and ends when he dies. Once he died, there was no more story. 'Star Wars' is about him, it's not really about Luke. And you know, I never said that there would be nine, anyway.

9. Were you happy with the way 'Indy IV' turned out?
Oh yeah, I thought it was a lot of fun, we had a great time doing it, and you know, it turned out well, so we're all happy.

The film follows a hitman (Cage) who goes to Bangkok on an assignment. The original film's main character is a deaf-mute whose disability makes him a fearless, unflinching gunman. That character has been changed in the remake.

"We'd like to keep him the same, but we understand that from a marketing point of view Nic needs to have some lines," Oxide was quoted as saying in the International Herald Tribune. "So what we’re going to do is transform his girlfriend instead into a deaf-mute. This switch will maintain the drama of communication between the two main characters."

The film starts at the beginning of the 2005/2006 season. Barcelona defeats Real Madrid by three goals in the Bernabéu, and Gavin Harris performs poorly in the Spanish league match. Santiago has attracted the interest of Real after his sensational performance in Newcastle last season and on deadline day he signs for them in a swap deal involving Michael Owen. Santi moves in with Roz who he is set to get married to. He makes his debut in a game against Greek side Olympiakos. With the game tied at 0-0 he comes off the bench to score the winning goal with a fantastic volley to the delight of the home crowd. Meanwhile his friend Gavin Harris is misfiring and has failed to score in 14 matches.

Roz soon has to head home to carry on her studies. Santi continues to impress at Real and the manager and director of Football are seen arguing of whether he should start. However life gets bad for Santi when his half brother turns up and shows him a picture of his mom. Santi's mom left his dad years ago and is now living in Spain with a new husband and a son. Enrique had learnt of this and went to tell Santi. Santi is freaked and drives off. From then on his life goes downhill. He makes his first start in a home game against Valencia and he is sent off after 5 minutes when he hacked down Vicente. He drowns his sorrows at a bar with Jordana Garcia (a journalist he met at Gavin's party).

Things get worse for Santi as he misses the team plane for the game against Rosenborg and he then starts falling out with Roz as he becomes more selfish and arrogant. He sacks his agent Glen Foy who had given him a chance in football. Meanwhile his friend Gavin Harris is scoring again but he loses his house and moves in with Santi. Santi gets injured while playing football with Gavin at home and his coach bans him from returning home for Christmas. Roz begins to think that Santiago is cheating on her.

For New Year's Eve, Gavin organizes a party which Jordana Garica is invited to. Jordana and Santi soon start kissing and the next scene shows Santiago telling Gavin that nothing happened when in fact they kissed. Santi tells Gavin about his brother but seems unable to find him. Enrique and Santi encounter each other again, and Santiago gives Enrique a ride home. After Santi drops Enrique off at home, Enrique quickly grabs Santi's duffel bag containing his warm ups and practice jersey. Santiago, unable to chase Enrique because of his injury, gets back into his car.

Enrique then steals Santi's car and Santi jumps in a cab and orders the Cab to pursue the car. Enrique crashes the car and Santi is interviewed by the police at the hospital where Enrique has been treated. A member of the paparazzi takes a picture of Santi and Santi strikes him, just as the police drag him off he finally sees his mom.

He spends the night in the jail before a member of the club rescues him, however things get worse a magazine shows Jordana and Santi kissing at the bar on New Years Eve. Roz yells at Santi over the phone. Meanwhile Santi finally finds his mom and they talk over what happened where his mom reveals she ran away because a man and Santi's uncle attacked her. Santi plays a game of football with his brother Enrique. He then phones Roz and apologizes for his behaviour. Roz is pregnant but Santi doesn't know.

Harris scores the winning goal against Barcelona in the Champions League. Real Madrid get past Lyon in the Champions League Semi-Finals by goals of Harris and Santi in the Santiago Bernabéu. They play Arsenal in the final and are trailing 1-0 at half time. Santi is brought on to play behind Gavin Harris. Arsenal however score again through Thierry Henry. They then miss a penalty and Gavin Harris pulls one back. Santi hits the bar before scoring himself in injury time and David Beckham scores a free kick to win Real the Champions League.
